Shruti is a gold medalist with a PhD, MBA, Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Kaizen Coach. She is cited and referenced within Google Scholar. She has authored seven books.
Shruti started out her career as a pharmaceutical research scientist and went on to Head R&Ds of well-known pharma companies such as FDC, Macleods Pharmaceuticals, Unichem, Novartis and Pharmascience Canada. She was the first recipient of PAMDAL ‘Young Scientist Award’. During her illustrious career as a R&D Leader, Shruti led drug product development programs and manufacturing of over 1000 generics and specialty medicinal products, currently sold in 65 countries worldwide. She has several awards, over 100 publications and 30 patents to her credit.

Shruti’s first stint as a Continuous Improvement Expert was business turnaround of a sick contract research company to a profitable business in just 9 months!
In 2012 Shruti founded Innoworks, a Canadian Management Consulting Co. and went on to become Global Business Excellence & Continuous Improvement Leader.
Also, Shruti is Dean, Kaizen Leader Academy Canada. She also works with companies and universities to create customized learning paths, workshops and online courses on Leadership and various Continuous Improvement topics. She is an invited speaker at several national and international conferences, symposia and workshops.
